Sam’s specialty is in designing effective, holistic compliance frameworks from the ground up, to ensure firms understand their regulatory obligations and have the right tools to look after themselves.

She is a former examiner for the International Compliance Association, helping to shape future compliance officers. Sam can also provide one-to-one mentoring for new Compliance Officers, Money Laundering Reporting Officers, and Money Laundering Compliance Officers.

Sam is a professional member of the International Compliance Association.

Sam is also part of the Association of Guernsey Charities and spends her free time helping various charities on the Island. She also designs and sells glasswork!

Jim can work with your IT providers and give truly impartial advice on the most effective policies, procedures, and controls to effectively manage your cyber and data risks.

Jim is a keen cyclist who enjoys adventuring around the world, as well as desgining, building and fixing all sorts of things.

Jacques has a keen eye for dealing with complex issues and a broad spectrum of experience, knowledge and interest in various topics which also include business development and processes, economic substance, beneficial ownership, and investment processes.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute (formely the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators), and a Professional Member of both the Chartered Institute of Directors and International Compliance Association.

Jacques is a keen gamer and a competitive amateur strongman, spending time in the gym if he is not eating, with his family or playing video games!

During that time, she was responsible for the jurisdictional board, including the development of policies and procedures and board evaluation processes.

With sound knowledge and strong attention to detail, Emilie understands the importance of governance and is well positioned to assist the needs of our clients.

Emilie is the Group Company Secretary and also supports our clients with Board-level compliance guidance.

Emilie enjoys socialising outside of work, time with her family and going on luxurious holidays!

Jodie has a strong eye for detail and excellent organisational skills ensuring that work is effectively completed to a high standard.

She has good presentation skills and will be undertaking training sessions in her role at Horsepool.

Jodie is a Professional Member of the International Compliance Association.

Jodie runs her own photography business (RockPhotography), she enjoys running, sea swimming and staying active, and spending time with her family.

In 2008 Amy completed the Society and Trust Estate Practitioner Diploma, obtaining the highest mark for the paper in Company Law and Practice, and was named as one of ePrivateclient’s Channel Islands Top 35 under 35 in 2018 and 2019.

Amy is a professional member of the International Compliance Association.

Amy enjoys travelling and exploring, has an interest in arts and culture and loves spending time with her dog Ralph!

As our Wellness Officer, its Ralph's job to keep our spirits up and we love to see him in the office as much as possible!

Ralph is a qualified roofer and enjoys long walks on the beach.
